Welcome to Restaurant Buddy. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Restaurant Buddy mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service") provided by Restaurant Buddy ("we," "our," or "us"). By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's permission to use the Service.

We strive to provide accurate restaurant and menu information, including allergen data. However, we cannot guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or currentness of this information. Restaurant menus, ingredients, and allergen information may change without notice.
5.2 Allergen Disclaimer
IMPORTANT: While we make every effort to identify potential allergens in menu items, we cannot guarantee that our allergen information is 100% accurate or complete. Cross-contamination may occur in restaurant kitchens. If you have food allergies or dietary restrictions:
- Always verify allergen information directly with the restaurant before ordering
- Inform restaurant staff of your allergies when ordering
- Do not rely solely on our Service for allergen safety decisions
- Carry appropriate medications (such as epinephrine) if you have severe allergies
We are not responsible for any allergic reactions or health issues resulting from food consumed at restaurants found through our Service.

6. User Content

You may submit reviews, ratings, and other content ("User Content") through the Service. You retain ownership of your User Content, but by submitting it, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your User Content in connection with the Service.

User Content must not:

9. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that:
- The Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
- Results obtained from the Service will be accurate or reliable
- Any errors in the Service will be corrected
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RESTAURANT BUDDY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US, IF ANY, IN THE PAST TWELVE MONTHS FOR THE SERVICE.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Restaurant Buddy and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.
12. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. You may delete your account at any time through the app settings or by contacting us.
13. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts of the United States.
14. Dispute Resolution
Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through informal negotiation. If the dispute cannot be resolved informally, it shall be submitted to binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
15. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
16. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Restaurant Buddy regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
